My husband asked me to combine the car and house for insurance purposes. Instructions unclear.

No one was home or in the car just myself. Husband and kids were in his car, we were heading out to take the car to get inspected but the brakes wouldn’t work. I changed the brake pads yesterday and we think that air must have gotten in the line.

@spicymamianiify, that’s where I messed up normally yes I do and take the car for a test drive. But family was over and we were planning my sons small party plus my brother had to fix his car so we didn’t do that and just let the car sit until this morning. The damages are not excessive and our insurance is able to cover it. As for the garage door we will fix that ourselves so we won’t have to contact our homeowners insurance.
