Anyone diagnosed with hypothyroidism? I’m about 90% sure that I am dealing with this. I have brought it up to doctors before and been dismissed because my TSH was ok but the didn’t dig anymore. But all my symptoms/issues I have which are a lot. All line up with hypothyroidism. And I’m happy I have a newer doctor who listens to me and trusts my opinions. So I know have an appointment with a specialist. So I am curious how we’re you diagnosed. How have things changed since you started treatment. Etc. I want to know it all!
Yes. I have heard that as well. And the more I look into it things are lining up. I have so many symptoms that we don’t know the cause of such as migraines, stomach issues, severe muscle pain that comes out of nowhere for months and is debilitating then will just be fine, no energy and always so foggy headed. The list goes on and on. I am seeing this doctor in July because they think I have RA but I plan on talking to him about this. Because yes RA makes sense but it also happens to people with hypothyroidism. I am really hoping we just get answers. I know all this stuff I’m dealing with isn’t right but I feel like I’m going crazy because of all the problems I deal with but literally nothing helps.
Yeah my tsh was completely normal but I have had my thyroid be enlarged and playable 4x now and the doctors have always been shocked and ordered tsh and it be normal. But I was talking with this other doctor who believes I have it as well. Though my tsh is within normal range. But I have other labs that sometimes are found with this as well such as high triglycerides and cholesterol.
I do. They found with blood work. You say your TSH was ok? They are in normal range?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and Hashimotos about 8 years ago. I was feeling very sluggish and my TSH was high. My TSH being elevated led them to run other blood tests such as T3, T4, and for all sorts of antibodies. It’s my understanding that you can have Hashimotos with a normal TSH if it is in its early stages, so it might be worthwhile to ask your doctor to run bloodwork for that.
