@meka2013, oh, well my kids are older and my oldest watches his siblings so I can go to the store on my own. They pretty much entertain themselves and are chill kids they will play in the backyard and I can sit and watch tv.

I think it’s different depending on the age of your children. Since mine is older I get a decent amount of me time. But I would say my child is always in the vicinity of my me time lol. Usually he’s playing on his switch or something. I read throughout the day whenever I get a chance. I listen to audiobooks while doing housework and find some me time during his remote learning (only in the morning usually because he needs support during certain subjects). We have a backyard so I sit out there and read or paint my nails. Sometimes I can sneak out when someone else is home and run errands, walk in the park by myself listening to my book, sometimes getting my nails done. Often I stay up late for my me time as well. Usually it’s listening to my book or playing on my phone.

Yes it does.. mines are 8yr and 2yr ... 1 @ school and the other home.. I wanna put her in daycare but the expenses are crazy.. majority of my alone is spending with the 8yr while the 2 yr is napping. Night fall bf want goodies and I’m tired LOL start it all over again the next day... 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

@meka2013, is there a daycare assistance program you can apply for and are eligible for? Putting him in daycare when he was that age was the only way I kept my sanity.

True, the older they are, the more independent they will be so more time for you. I encourage and teach her to be as well. Helping out.

I am what I now call a “Half-assed” stay at home. I work part time lol.
I find time when dd is remote learning, early mornings or late nights and when I am at work but that is not “alone” lol.
Also when I need a little time I just ask dh to help out when he is home. He is good at giving me the time😋

@meka2013, when my kids take a nap and when they go to bed at night. They are usually in bed by 7:30 and wake up at 8a.m Or when my husband is off I go out for pedicures and stop at a few stores like target and Starbucks and will grab lunch alone.
