Nobody’s foot should be on someone’s neck for that amount of time, not a regular person and certainly not someone in a position to serve and protect. Anybody would die with someone’s knee on their neck for 9 minutes, even someone not high and healthy.

I did watch and Floyd was saying he couldnt breath before he was put on the ground while he was in the car the video even shows that. The prosecutor just said that that the only cause for Floyds lack of oxygen was because of chauvins knee

Chauvin took part of him not being able to breathe. When someone says they can't breathe it's not taken literally. That means they have a shortage of breath which can lead to them dying. I don't think he just sat there and died from drugs and health issues. Chauvin definitely played apart. Let George Floyd put his knee into Chauvins neck the story would've been different. He'll be charged with murder no questions asked.

Any restraint involving an airway you need to be tracking respiration rate and pulse. If you think someone is under the influence you should be monitoring their respiratory rate and pulse.

Any changes or loss of consciousness he should’ve immediately been released from the restraint he was in.
