@mamaof2soon, yes I definitely get where your coming from it because a daily thinking like what the heck could it possibly be! I hope you can get answers! Allergies suck! Two of my kids have and had food allergies and it’s not fun at all! Sorry if I was no help 😕

hypoallergenic dogs are sadly a myth created by breeders to jack up prices and make their hybrids more admirable. I’m betting there were animals in your house previously whether the dander is still in the carpet or they peed on it and molded the padded layer under the carpet. You can try to get the carpets steam cleaned. I don’t think an allergy specifically to carpet exists. I also wouldn’t start steroid medications such as Flonase (unless it’s steroid free) unless directed by a doctor bc they can become dependent on it.

The sun wouldn’t have anything to do with whether or not mold could grow. Does it rain a lot where you live during certain times of the year?
