Just out of curiosity if there are other moms that do not do chore lists/chart for their children.. Do not get me wrong my kids do have things around the house they do but it isn’t like ok every Wednesday you do this, every night you do this or that. There is no set schedule.

I don’t have anything written out or anything for them. It’s just something we do. All 4 of them are expected of certain thing’s they need to do. Nothing, supper crazy just small thing’s.

We don't have a chore list, but I make sure they pick up their toys and vacuum when they make a mess at dinner. They also LOVE to scrub the kitchen tiles, so they do that once a week. Once they hit 5, they're expected to scrape their plates after a meal (my oldest makes a point to remind my husband he should do the same lol) and they all put their cups in the sink once they're done (the youngest LOVES dunking it in), same goes with snack plates. They also know to put their drinkable yogurt away, not to leave it lying around. They put their clothes away in the hamper when they change.
Basically, they're able to care enough for themselves that a chore wheel isn't necessary.
But when they're older, I do expect them to pitch in more, like doing their own laundry, taking out the garbage and washing dishes. But it's still too early for that, imo.

I have no set schedule he helps out when asked we have a chart he can do extra to earn money for things he wants that we won't buy just because.

I actually am just recently starting to do this. With 4 kids I need more structure for my sanity lol

No we don’t the boys know to have their room clean with beds made before going downstairs in the morning and to have their playroom clean before bed each night. Then my daughter knows to keep her room and bathroom clean. I clean the kitchen and living room (the kids know no toys are allowed downstairs that’s what their playroom is for) so that make sure way easier to keep the downstairs clean, my room and other two bathrooms. Luckily my house stays pretty clean though.

My oldest has a morning “job” list to help get things moving in the morning, especially since he’s always the first one up. But it’s simple, turn on the lights, turn on fish tank light, use potty, brush teeth, get dressed, come downstairs and wake us up. He also has to help clean any mess we ask him to, and help when asked for anything, and help maintain his tank. He gets a star at the end of the day if he has good behavior and helps when asked. The stars are how he keeps his fish tank in his room. Originally it’s how he earned it.
