Is anyone else really struggling with not seeing family & friends now? I haven't seen my family in 6months & I'm starting to feel really low & just generally miserable & depressed. I'm scrolling through facebook & peoples posts visiting their family & balling my eyes out. I don't want to start a debate & not judging those that are. It's just we've stuck to every single restriction this past year & I'm starting to resent that we're still not going anywhere or seeing anyone but so many others are. Morgan keeps asking when can we & it just keeps getting set back. I know there's bigger problems in the world & I'm very lucky I have my husband & boys. Just feeling particularly low this weekend 😒

Omg yes 😭😭😭 I saw my family July last year and then the time before that was Christmas 2019. It’s slowly destroying me. The kids keep asking to go see nanny and grandad and I hate video calling as it’s just not the same. X

Same. I know there's so many of us who are missing our families. Mine aren't into the whole video thing. And last couple times we've tried Morgan got upset after & asked when would we be able to see them. We saw everyone briefly last September for my Mum's 60th & before that I think it was the February half-term before the 1st lockdown. Their not close enough to just pop by for an outdoor stroll but not too far that I'm missing being able to visit x

yeah it’s the same for us, my family are over 2 hours away so we can’t just pop to see them. Just fingers crossed it’s all somewhat normal soon. Stay strong xx

Yeah, i haven't seen anyone since march last year. I can no longer leave the house as my anxiety is so bad I'm now having to do CBT and also being medicated for serious depression. I've absolutely lost my head, my confidence and everything I enjoyed about life. I have no friends and have gone through it all alone with no one to speak to, it's been hard. Totally understand how you feel I dont have family around but my partners family are when we get to. But even when we do I still may be to scared to leave the house, if it wasn't for my kids i probably wouldn't still be here😩

Gosh that's such a long time. Aw it's so hard isn't it. I'm sorry your struggling so bad with your anxiety. I have developed quite a bit of anxiety this past year. I'd never really experienced it before so wasn't sure it was that at first. I've been having mild anxiety attacks since the new year when I got covid then my husband. I was worrying constantly. Being back at work & getting out has helped me though.
Can I ask what CBT is? I don't think I have it bad enough to warrant medication. But if it gets worse I wouldn't be against it. I'm just trying to figure it out tbh. I'm glad your getting some help for yours. It's tough out there for everyone right now x

Cognitive behavioral therapy. And I had no choice in the end as I was a totally different person, and it's the first time in a long time I've been able to cope with normal life. And it definitely has been difficult for us all and affected us all in different ways. Bless you it isn't nice is it xxx
