Do y’all let your kids play in the backyard by themselves ?
No. It’s not fenced in. I live in a neighborhood where houses are pretty close together so I don’t trust people or my kid 😂
Never! Henry goes with them 🤣
Plus I have a fully fenced back yard and cameras, and nosy ass neighbors (gerald 😏😅)
Yes but I check on them regularly through the kitchen window and call out their names from time to time. I can mostly see them unless they go into one of the side yards. It’s fenced but my daughter knows how to open the side fence and has snuck into the front a few times, which I do not allow.
Yes because we have a fully fenced in yard and multiple cameras. I can see every inch of my front and back yard and my cameras go on my TV so I just turn it on and watch them😂 We also live in a super small town and out of the way so there's not people around besides our neighbors.
Yes. We live in a very safe area and it's completely fenced in. I also have cameras everywhere and can see everything 😂. And my Rottweiler would never let anyone in the yard without flipping out.
Yes. My littlest one is just now to the point I will prop the back door open and let her go outback by herself. It is completely fenced in and there is a lock on the gate. Usually I’m in the kitchen while she does this so I can see her right out the window. And the dogs usually go out with her.
Only my boys are allowed in the front yard by themselves.
When we get a fence I will. I can see the backyard from the living room and kitchen.
Yeah I have a locked fenced and I watch her on my Ring camera. But I'm usually in the kitchen anyways and can see her when I let her out to play. And my husbands Lil dog won't let anymore get close to the gate without going crazy anyways 😂
Lol. I’ve been thinking about getting an outside camera so I can watch them on it.
Yes but only if I can see them from my window 😂 and my oldest HAS to be outside with my youngest or it’s a no go
Lol I definitely wouldn’t let my little one out there alone. He loves being outside with his sister
No, but I live in a very busy downtown area with people are everywhere. At my mom's way out in the country, I givehl her free run except by the road. I am outside on the deck usually though. In case she gets a sting or a groundhog chases her.
Lmao the groundhog part cracked me up 😂😂 we don’t have stuff like that around here so I don’t have to worry about that.
Lmao it’s the only way I can get a break from Charley haha
My youngest is super mischievous, so it's just not a possibility for us. Last summer was mostly spent in our backyard and there was this one time I couldn't find him while I was doing some yard work (this was when we discovered he was Houdini). My husband heard and came out of the house just as I found him and I was like, "I'll put the yard stuff away, keep an eye on them and hold his hand until I bring them inside."
I don't know how, but in the time it took for me to put stuff away in the shed, my husband somehow lost the youngest lol. We ran all around the house 4 times until we found him trying to grab the neighbour's cat.
I swear, that kid is trying to put me into an early grave.
Oh lord lmao yeah I if mine were like that I wouldn’t let them out of my sight haha
Yessss, ours is fully fenced & I can see them. Our neighbors aren’t too close.
Our neighbors are pretty close but we know them all so I don’t mind
Yes. We live out in the country and my in laws share the land with us so our houses are right next to each other. They have to stay out back in sight of the windows. No swimming or riding dirt bikes unless an adult is outside though.
@llcoolkay, Yes and no. Sometimes the in laws are annoying. 😂
I would if I had a privacy fence where others couldn't see them
We live out in the country, our back yard is connected to my parents back yard, so if it's my 3 oldest ones, yes. I would never allow my 4 year old out in the backyard by himself, tho! If that makes sense.
Ahhh yeah that makes sense. I won’t let my youngest out there alone.
I don’t trust anyone so no. But also it’s not enclosed so that plays a huge part on why we don’t.
Oooh yeah I definitely wouldn’t let them either if it wasn’t enclosed. Ours is fully fenced in and I can see them.
Yes for my 5.5 year old not for my 18month.
