Yeah I wouldn't take it personally. They are offering it to some pregnant women with special circumstances but if you can avoid and wait I would do so. Nowhere near enough research has been done into how it effects us and baby whilst pregnant xxx

I wouldn't take the risk. Our immune systems are none existent to protect baby. If we get the vaccine then there is no way of fighting any effects it might cause to us or baby. I know a few people who have had it, they have said about 9 hours after they had it they had really high temps lasting upto 10 hours and they felt like they were high the entire time. I dread to think how we would be being pregnant. And congrats on baby! xx

Some places are offering pregnant woman the vaccine if their pre exsisting conditions are bad enough but most hospitals/doctors wont allow it at all due to lack of knowledge of how it effects baby in the womb xx

No they don't know if the vaccine is safe for pregnant women. They haven't tested it that far yet.

They wont vaccinate you if you're pregnant

And for my vaccine ladies;

And for my vaccine ladies; I was at the VA yesterday for an appointment and got nosy about a staff meeting being held in the open. Was told that the big rollout of the Covid vaccine for older Veterans was being held at our location starting today. Was told that the trial is not over and that the first rounds of vaccine everyone is getting right now is still part of the vaccine trial. Asked the two staff I was talking to if they got theirs and they said,"Yes". Thought I'd share in case anyone was interested. I was told that the current vaccine, though approved for use, was approved for emergency administration and the trials are ongoing. I personally won't get the vaccone right now, especially not while pregnant, but for those of you who plan to I hope it goes well for you and I hope we get more solid information soon, bc the ever changing recommendations make me dizzy.
