No I could never do that to my babies! I nursed both of them til 2.5 years. I recommend dropping one feeding at a time but that’s me.

Yes! My son was obsessed with boob and he was close to 18 months. I really did not enjoy it anymore it was becoming more inconvenient than anything. I decided in the middle of the day to just stop. Took him 2 days to fully stop asking for it, his main time for nursing and wanting it was at night. We had 1 night of crying and the second night he asked twice and then went to sleep. 3rd day he didn’t ask at all.

I am sooo over it now lol 😓 so far I just been singing n rocking him to sleep for nap time

@flamingfiremom, yeah I’d have to lay down with him and let him nurse to sleep and then sneak away. I tried weening but he caught on so that didn’t work. Cold turkey was the only way and did go as bad as I thought it would’ve!

Lynnie did awful when I got home, threw fits for it. Will has done great, only came up to me for it for a few days but never threw a fit !

@flamingfiremom my granny watched Lynnie and my parents watched will. It was definitely the easiest way.

@heatherlou88, ugh I’m just sooo over it I only breastfed my daughter til she was 7 months and she was easy she forgot about it like it was never there lol 😪🙄
