Has anyone had pre eclampsia or high blood pressure in their pregnancy? Consultant said I'm at high risk so I've been prescribed daily aspirin. Not sure if anyone can share their experience and whether it effected them having a baby naturally xx

I haven't experienced myself but my sister in law had pre eclampsia and high blood pressure. Everything was fine during labour, she had to get drip and they watched her blood pressure but baby was perfect. Nothing wrong with either of them x

I had high blood pressure and had a natural birth both times, I didnt have pre-eclampsia neither after I had my youngest they put me on a blood pressure monitor once I was home because it should have settled but didnt for a while afterwards but I did have to much fluids around both of them. Goodluck hope alls good!! X

Do you remember what week your blood pressure started hun? What was the treatment? And did you do anything extra like maybe walking? I just feel soo tired and breathless all the time.

aww its horrible isn't it cos your just drained, I was the same I was out of breath just getting up it started after 28weeks then my legs was so swollen but then my belly was so so tight but cos he was my first I just thought it was normal, they just monitored me more, I should of been high risk but my midwife sent me to have a growth scan and it was a student who done it so she didn't pick up on the fluids now when I think back id of wished I'd of said no to her doing it although she's got to learn, afterwards when they done the monitor it went off every half hour next morning my arm was dead but they then diagnosed me with white coat hypertension cos it had settled in the house but the minute I got back the hospital it was sky high but they said it was mostly likely because I had polyhydramnios, I then had it again second time around but no where near as bad as the first, towards the end I had protein so they sent me the hospital again this was with my second but by the time I got there and done a sample it had gone so they said it must of been discharge every appointment i had it done straight away and then had to sit around for like half hour to see if it changed when i was relaxed but it was still always high, what have they said to you? Do they think its preclamsia 🙏 for you.Xx
