It’s been a while since I’ve been on here from my little boy who is nearly 4 now. I was just after some advice. I’m 14 weeks pregnant tomorrow and all my symptoms except tiredness have disappeared. I honestly can’t remember my timeline of my first pregnancy when my symptoms stopped. I had a miscarriage in July. My scan last week showed everything was fine but I think I’m just worried this time. Can you give me some of your experiences at this stage of pregnancy please?

Symptoms usually subside around now, so it’s completely normal to lose symptoms and also have them come back x

Yeah that’s what I’ve read everywhere tbh but I think because my MC was a missed MC I had no symptoms of losing until I went to my scan so I’m just worrying in case the same happens. I’m pretty sure with my firsts pregnancy that my sickness stopped around this time but just can’t remember. Probably worrying over nothing x

It’s different for everybody and every pregnancy. For some sickness starts around now and others don’t get sickness at all but could also start 7-8 weeks to! I understand. I’d try not to worry to much just take things easy also, if your worried you can always contact your doctor/midwife x

@kay86 I know how you feel, I also had a loss in July. I worried constantly that something was wrong even after my scans. I still worry now and im 23 weeks tomorrow if I havnt felt her move for a little while. By around 15 weeks my symptoms had dissapeared completely. I no longer felt fatigued, and just didn't 'feel' pregnant anymore so was really nervous when I went for my 20 week scan. (didn't have any sickness in either pregnancy so can't comment on that). All I can advise is try not to worry although I'm in the same boat so we can both worry together 😂 x

All I can say is that any pregnancy after a miscarriage is fraught with worry. I had a missed miscarriage, followed by another miscarriage that happened about a week after my positive pregnancy tests. When I got pregnant again with number 2, I was constantly worrying and paying extra close attention to all my symptoms.
Everything worked out, thankfully.
I've heard of people buying dopplers online to hear the heartbeat, so maybe consider investing in one.
Your other option is to talk to your doctor about it.
If you're started to feel flutters, drink some cold orange juice or water, then lay on your left side to reassure yourself.
Congratulations on your pregnancy and I hope that your anxiety eases up 💜

Firstly, congratulations to you!! Your not alone and it is probably one of the hardest times you will go through. Worrying from that positive on the test untill that baby crys when it's out!
My symptoms were all over the with my 3rd, after a MC. I didn't have half the things ide suffered with in other pregnancys aside from bleeding in all 4 of them (that was terrifying).
I paid for 2 early scans, and the usual NHS ones and tbh the second i left that scan i still was worried and thinking but what if things have changed since. But you need to try and be as positive as you can, take each day as it comes and do things to keep your mind busy from the worrying. Do whatever you need to do to help you cope whether it be more scans, a doppler ( some advise not too and personally i wouldn't) or just talking to people at home or on here.
When baby starts to move that's a big reassurance in itself too, so if your not already i guess it won't be long.
Lastly don't forget to enjoy it because as hard as it is when it's over you will regret not being the excited mummy to-be! I certainly do now! ❤️
If you need a chat I'm always here 😁😘
