Has any one else had to have a child tested for covid? I'm just wondering what the best way to do the test with a fidity 4 year old 🤔😂

Sometimes you know your body better than everyone else. Not every woman will produce high levels of hcg throughout pregnancy some it can take weeks some it can take months don’t trust a blood test don’t trust a urine test trust your heart and when you know it’s times it’s time this doctor was not a gynecologist so he did not give me a quantitative blood test to actually see what my hcg level is at I hope this helps some of you ladies who just feel like giving up and stop testing because of what everyone else thinks or what a doctor tells you trust your body you know your body better than a blood test and a pee test and god will lead you to the right path

My youngest was tested on Tuesday and it was absolutely awful 😂 i had to pin him down, it's horrible but it's for the best! X

It was done by the nurse, but she was struggling like hell so i was pinning while she did it. He had 2, one was that rapid one up his nose and the other was on his tonsils only. In the test pack it says about children so follow that.. It is horrible and upsetting but honestly just tell yourself it's for the best! Xx

I've heard somewhere that children only need the nasal swab. I don't know how true the article was though, but could be worth checking.

Aaliyah had one done And it was not as bad as I thought it only the nostrils that has to be done. For children. She cry for like 5 seconds it was over. Her Results come bk 24hrs later x

Theo has had one. It was a nightmare. It's meant to be two nostrils but honestly when I had mine the nostril swab was worse than the tonsils!
Try to avoid pinning him, talk him through it. Let him look at the pictures in the book. Just try and make it a bit of a game. The pinning Theo was horrible, I was in tears, he was a mess. I won't be doing it again, we will just be isolating for then 10 days of either of the kids start coughing 😣

When they are asleep! It was much easier doing it that way. Either way it's not nice for them x
