Next question. Do you think this covv vaccine is going to be monitory for home health workers??
@squishymommy1 gotcha it is scary for me bcuz I have alot of health problems already. And im paranoid as they get
@hakunamafuckitall, that’s why I’m getting it. Because I have a lot of health issues already. Some of them from having had Covid.
@squishymommy1 im not saying I'll never get it but just not yet
@jenx now that I think bout it my niece has allergies to sulfur sulfate (think thats how u spell it) so hope she dont fall into category in not being able to get second dosage. An thank you. Im trying to encourage her to get second dosage but will see what her dr tells her tomorrow.
Also glad I planned to homeschool and work for an agency that can’t afford to lose staff.
@lifewithlynnieandwill88, noooo. I wouldn’t. I had anaphylaxis when pregnant with Greyson and it was the most terrifying thing to have happen.
@monstermommax3 yeah, if they make this vaccine mandated I'll homeschool too.
@jenx u wasn't saying the shot gave them covid. I was just saying they got the shot and still got the cov afterwards
Yeah, that totally sucks! :( to get a shot and still get covid. I swear that is harder, to get covid now when there is a prevention in place.
@jenx right. I dont wanna deflect anyone from getting i just paranoid and always worried about the future like what happens in 5 years?
Currently my place of employement will not make it mandatory. But i can see some places making it mandatory for employment. I will not be getting it nor my child. We dont handle vaccines well at all.
@hakunamafuckitall me too. Every single vaccine i have received has affected my thyroid and my medication needed an increase for almost 2 years after each one. My last was the MMR the day after i gave birth to my daughter. It is just now getting back to a manageable level.
My daughter had seizures after every dose of DTap. Stopped vaccines at her 9 mo appt. We will revisit when she turns 4. Damn nys though is impossible to get a medical exemption. So itll be home school for her, which is really hard bc at 3 she just wants to go to school with her cousin
And no, I don't see them making it mandatory at all. If you don't want it, you won't have to get it.
But i have heard some nursing homes are making the vaccine mandatory 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
@hakunamafuckitall, I don't blame you at all I would be to like I'm sorry but I refuse to take that shit .
I hope not girl because I just started back working for this home health agency and so far they haven't said anything about us having to be vaccinated .
@hakunamafuckitall, Exactly girl 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
I know someone who was told to get the vaccine or they couldn’t keep their job. She’s a nurse but not at the hospital or anything. She just takes blood at a small office. She was quite upset because she wanted to wait and see how the vaccine worked before getting it. After she got it she was sick for days and her arm swelled up huge! Like a softball sticking out of her arm huge. Stayed that way 3 days
@hakunamafuckitall if they got covid after the shot, it is because they caught covid before the vaccine could build immunity. That takes weeks after getting it. There also isn't a complete DNA sequence in the vaccine, you literally cannot get covid from it. Just letting you know. Totally your choice to get it or not, but don't go by heresay. <3
@jenx i didnt say she had covid her dr office did. Really I think its just from the vaccine an im actually try to tell her to get the second dosage but to talk to her dr bout. Cuz shes regretting.
@supermomof4 just hope she gets her answers an dont get discouraged on getting the second shot. Think she got all the symptoms u get from second dosage. I know when u get the shot some ppl.will get mild symptoms. So she was one of those that got mild symptoms from the shot.
No. Mandatory vaccination, especially only that’s only approved for emergency use is a slippery slope. I know many homes and agencies would close if they made the vaccine mandatory.
@hakunamafuckitall, same. My job took a survey. I’m waiting until I have paid time off in case I have an adverse reaction, and I’m waiting to see if my cousin has any weird side effects other than what she has already had. She was super sick. But negative for Covid.
@monstermommax3 im more worried about the future uk like 5 years from now and everyone has cancer or some shit. Im so paranoid. I dont wanna defect anyone from getting if they want to im just personal not ready for it
@hakunamafuckitall, I mean my friend had it while pregnant and her twins were born with antibodies but she has permanent lung damage. So like it’s a lose lose situation with Covid. 😬
Personally for me. If I had a home health care worker. They wouldn’t be working with me without the vaccine.
