Has anyone took ibuprofen while pregnant ? The urgent care I just went to is advising me to take one to help inflammation with my ear
Any advice would be great

Not supposed to. You're supposed to ONLY take tylenol
Yeah I thought that that’s why I’m asking about ibuprofen
I did because I had a severe kidney infection and that’s all I had before i could get my self to the hospital I was admitted to the hospital the other day and they where like you shouldn’t have taken that it will cause the babies heart to beat extremely fast which it did on my end and spiked my heart rate as well I felt so bad! I was just in so much pain and knew Tylenol wouldn’t help but I didn’t know how severe it was to take that until the dr told me he also told me by next year there will be a warning on it for pregnant woman
I wouldn’t wait till the morning and call your ob and see what they say
I don’t believe you’re suppose to take it for the first 30 weeks, it can cause complications or miscarriage. I’d call my OB office.
@mrs.watkins4715 I agree. Like what the heck?! It isn't uncommon to need a longer antibiotic for an ear infection because it is a small space and not easy for the antibiotic to get into. And they are painful!

I never did. Ibuprofen is a blood thinner. I don't know what the pregnancy recommendations are. Did they give you an antibiotic for the ear infection?
No they didn’t give me another antibiotic because they gave me one on nov 28 but my ears are still hurting
Anti inflammatory's are supposed to be only taken in 2nd trimester.. n minimal as you can...
