What the heck is going on with NYC’s train stations this year? It seems like every day someone is getting pushed onto the train tracks. This has been going on for weeks now.😱 This gives me a new fear of taking the train now when I used to just take the train all the time. I haven’t been on a train since February. Now the thought of going to a train station is kind of scaring me.

@q_dgaf, oh damn I didn’t know that. That is scary. 😱 I wonder why they kick them out maybe that mental institution wants their families to pay and they can’t come up with the money?

Soo actually this has alot to do with the fact that there’s a mental institution right down the street from union square, and when they cant help them or their behavior is bizarre they get booted and are living on the trains among us and now we don’t know the lunatic that may decide to have a outburst next to us...

@dontspankme, yeah that is one of the cases and some other ones that I see happening in NYC. This is just awful. 😩 How scary is that to wait for a train and not know if you are getting pushed until it happens within seconds? I feel so bad for the people who are going through this. One woman who survived her attack and luckily was able to get away before a train arrive, has to get therapy for her trauma and near death experience. 😔

@boymommie, I think when I start taking the train again probably by sometime next year I will feel paranoid. I would already feel like I would have to keep my guard up Incase of a thief or something naturally when I would normally take the train but this is a whole other level of worrying now. I hope this stops soon but it seems to be happening everyday. 😩 The news doesn’t always report these cases. Sometimes I find them on news articles online but they won’t always show it on tv.

@amazinglimama, I heard about one in Staten Island that the patients were getting mistreated and I think they closed down in the 90’s?

@amazinglimama, do you think it has something to do with mental asylums closing down in the past? I heard that but I don’t know much about it. I heard that is one of the reasons why there are a lot of people who aren’t getting the help they need that are mostly lurking around train stations.

Honestly it’s a little bit of everything. There are a lot of mental disorders as well sometimes the wrong diagnosis etc and also some mental asylums weren’t what they seem either they abused the patients

@amazinglimama, oh I never heard about that with the serial killer and the law that was passed, I should read up on that. That is interesting, thanks for sharing! That is true there are a lot of people out there that are suffering from mental illness that are usually in train stations or outside and then unfortunately it sucks when they attack. 😔

Yes oh my goodness sadly this always happens and many times it is people suffering like the above comment also I forgot the serial killers name who pushed the lady for rejecting him but that’s how one of New York laws came around I think it’s call Kendra law I’m not too sure I took a class and wrote a paper on him though

@sherrynygirl, Thank you. I definitely worry about that since I used to go to manhattan a lot. I feel like there are also a lot of copy cats out there that think it is fun to do. Very scary. I remember a few cases like this through out the years but this year has been insane with how much it has been happening. I feel like the same way people were copying the knock out game now they think this is fun. 😩 This is just terrible. I’m glad that not everyone is getting killed by being pushed onto the tracks and that some are lucky to get out before the train arrives but it’s still traumatizing and people are still getting injured.
