Between my daughter and son I had 2 miscarriages, the first was horrible and I had complications from it for about 4 months, very scary time

I deal a lot with depression and anxiety, but have an amazing support system and I try to advocate as much as I can for mothers with mental illness as the mental illness does not mean we can't be good mothers

I was told today that people with mental illness should be forced to be fixed and never allowed to reproduce I was in shock I am bipolar and very open I wonder why people are like this I was so hurt I had no idea how to respond as I walked away all I could do was cry
