Lol I feel super bad cuz I stopped breastfeeding and started smoking and then all of a sudden he wants to breastfeed again and not take the bottle and I have weed in my system so I feel bad 😭😂

Yes I doc it the whole pregnancy and 5 years I breastfed ppl are seriously stupid to think it goes to the kid... I’ve only posted this 57546 times 🤣

I’m not condoning marijuana use while nursing nor am I condemning it, but sharing some info for y’all. “Other factors to consider are the possibility of positive urine tests in breastfed infants, which might have legal implications.” Just take a read for yourself. Hope everything’s okay for y’all!

I don’t know of for sure, but it’s a lot longer than alcohol. This study says anywhere from 6 days to 6 weeks

@m0mmy I knew it was a lot longer than alcohol, cuz I was thinking that you can smoke and still test positive 3 days later. But my goodness, 6 weeks! You'll be pumping and dumping for 6 weeks! Wow
@mujerstillregal, yeah. I remember back in college when we’d go get a job it was a “better not smoke for a month. better not smoke for 30” type deal because it could always stay in your system longer.

It does pass through into the breast milk. My friend had severe postpartum depression and she had to wean off before receiving her medical card. But she’s doing great now and so are her babies
