My three year old has been walking with a limp for a little over a week, he doesn’t complain of pain though, he runs and jumps completely normal. I took him to urgent care last week, they did X-rays on him but the doctor didn’t find anything wrong with him. Does anybody have any idea what it could be?

Is it after hes been sitting down/laying down for a while? Could be that his leg falls asleep bc he prefers a certain position that causes that.

Have you thought about seeing a chiropractor? It could help!

I’m taking him to an orthopedic tomorrow.

@deborahjq He limps the whole time, from the second he wakes up until he goes to bed for the night.

That sounds so strange. Especially since he doesn't complain about any pain and runs and jumps normally. My oldest a few years ago used to wall with a limp after we'd visit my mom. Her husband had a bad hip, but refused to do anything about it, so he'd walk with a limp and my oldest would copy him for the next few days.
This doesnt seem to be the situation that you're in, so I can sympathize with not really having an answer. I hope it's just growing pains and that it'll run its course soon.

@boymommie, you should try taking him to a specialist. It breaks my heart seeing my son walk like that so I’m praying it’s nothing serious and it goes away soon.

exactly, at first I thought he was faking it because he didn’t complain about any pain, but after two days of him walking like that I started getting concerned and decided to take him to urgent care. It’s been a little over a week and some days it’s worse than others. I also hope it’s nothing serious.
