Well halloween is this weekend!! Which I completely forgot about. Are people still taking their kids trick or treating?

Yeah the kids have been inside since March with no where to go. Halloween will be first time they can have some fun. If the church where I live holds their annual trunk or treat we will be going there and stopping to like 5 homes that tend to participate along the way. We will be safe and have masks and practice social distancing.
We are going to my in laws gated community and they are doing a trunk or treat where they put a chest of candy out for the kids❤️ it's a huge community too so it'll be fun. Also, we don't celebrate halloween, ever, but since we've been mostly inside for 7 months I thought the kids would enjoy it.
I'll just be taking my kids to a work Halloween party and then on halloween just doing a scavenger hunt with candy and little toys here at the house!

Also, I SWEAR to sweet baby Jesus that her name is Jennabelle and she ROCKS a fuckin beehive y'all! NOT playin! I bet she was SO much fun in her heyday!

I think it's varying, dependin on where you are and what your county's numbers are looking like. Our town is settin up a truck or treat, and not doin the door to door thing. There keepin the stops so far apart, so many people allowed in each spot at one time, masks, sanitizer and the whole bit. Everything has to be pre-packaged, no homemade goodies. Which kinda sucks....the ONLY reason I even go down Miss Jennabelle's street is for her popcorn balls and candy apples! She's the only old person on that block that's not a grump! 🤣 We gotta keep her healthy though so we'll just be walkin by, wavin at her from the street. I honestly think this holiday is hittin the old folks harder than the kiddos. I mean, some of em are alone ALL the time and look forward to havin all the babies come knock on their door, chat em up a bit, get to see their costumes and all that good stuff. We'll ALL find or think of SOMETHIN for our babies to do, but what about Grandma and Grandpa?? Is anyone rememberin them? Makes me sad. Y'all call your Gramma's and tell em how much you love em!
