Yeah she was literally fine the entire time she had it too. No stomach ache or fever.

I didn’t either. It was really weird how he said diarrhea for a day is a symptom in children right after I told him she had it for 24hrs

@llcoolkay, ya that’s I heard to, my moms works for a pharmacy and she said the cold is starting to go around to and that cough syrups ect ate starting to pick back up and sell a lot the past week

My son has a very small cough and in the mornings he says his throat hurts but then it’s fine through out the day. I’m like do I get him tested. It’s hard to see if it’s a cold or if it’s Covid symptoms it’s stressful. And should I still let him go to school 🤨

Yeah this whole time is so stressful. Covid literally never crossed my mind with her just having diarrhea. She feels completely fine, eating and drinking like normal. Playing like a mad women lol. My mom also just had diarrhea for about 24hrs as well. I think it’s just a bug.

Gastrointestinal ailments can sometimes be the only symptom that someone will display, so that’s probably why they suggested it. Do your kids go to daycare or are they around other people/relatives often? If so, I would test otherwise I’d see how long it continues before deciding.

Her diarrhea was the only symptom she had it’s now been gone for over 18 hours. The only people she’s around is us and my parents. I think we’re going to wait.

@sassywvgirl, @lexhernandez, that’s what I thought. My daughter had diarrhea for about 24 hrs and I spoke to a pediatrician and he wants me to have her tested

No, sounds like a stomach bug if it was for one day. Happens all the time with kids. A friend of mine had Covid and all 4 of her kids tested positive as well. One of them had no symptoms at all but the other 3 had a fever and diarrhea for several days. If she has no fever and is back to normal after 2 days I wouldn’t even bother.
