This post is completely disrespectful. You can have your opinion absolutely but when it's to the point where it disregards others beliefs its a problem! I'm pretty sure you ladies on here know I'm extremely spiritual minded/religious but I have NEVER EVER disrespected anyone's beliefs nor do I need to because that's exactly how a true Lord Jesus believer carries themselves..even despite the lack of consideration many have shown on here in general. So to see this posted is very offensive especially to know this was based off someone else's post that bothered you..i mean why not just message her about it instead?? I mean hey it what it is and I will definitely not go back and forth with you on this but I just wanted to let you know how I felt in regards to consideration towards others all the way around. I've read the bible, I interpret pretty well, and girl, I must say, you ain't lie! Most "Christians" I've come across have never read the bible, they just hear what the preacher said on Sunday, then wait for the next Sunday to hear what he has to say again. I find most Christians are pastor followers and church goers, rather than being bible or Jesus followers.
@lifewithlynnieandwill88 What we HAVE to remember is that in the Old Testament the laws/rules in that time were in place to try and keep ppl separate. Those laws were about trying to establish "obedience" that's why when ppl disobeyed there were atonements not forgiveness because under the law you weren't saved. So those rules/laws(which weren't just for pork it was certain fish, chicken, specific attire etc)were for them NOT US who NOW have DELIVERANCE..because that was not in the time of our Lord Jesus!
Remember that the New Testament is an update to the Old. In the New Testament you will see that a lot of laws are no where to be found because NOW it's about grace, love and mercy IN repentance THROUGH obedience!

Like someone stated to you before that they weren't a believer and merely found this as interesting so after that is said truly everything else doesn't really matter to much because the Bible is ONLY for the spiritual minded and if that's not them they truthfully will not understand. That’s what it seems like with politics right now, it is controlled know matter what side you believe in. If a certain politician says, burn down the whole America and kill everyone people will follow blindly. That’s why I don’t get too involved with politics. I don’t get too involved with religion as well even though I am catholic but I do like respecting others opinions wether someone is religious or not. I would not s*** on someone else’s beliefs.
@myargentinandmystomachhurts religious people, I've found, don't extend the same courtesy to others in terms of respecting opinions. If an individual wants to be damned for eternity, that's their choice. No need to force feed them your beliefs

Religion Conspiracy/Theory **This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment control? Religion and goverment have been operating for a very very very long time and co existed together. So back before church and state were seperated the goverment and religious officals worked together create ideals that would be implemented into the lives of every person they can get a hold of and spread it from one person to another thus the population would act a certain way and follow everything the church had to say and those who opposed it with diffrent beliefs and religion would get killed. Once the people started questioning their actions they created the devils image to have people fear something greater and get their attention away from them. So they justify their "sins" by doing it in the name of god and since they are doing it for god then its ok because they are cleaning the world of evil. So to present day church and state is somewhat seperated now and less people are starting to not believe in god or any religion (including my SO and i) that promote fear to have people act a certain way or they will suffer for all eternity. So back to the question do you think its possible that religion is starting to be a failing form of goverment control?
Organ donor I was at the DMV today and I noticed that nobody... literally nobody said yes to being an organ donor when asked. It is really that uncommon? If you're not, what are your reasons for not being one? I am aware this is pretty taboo to talk about.

Religious debates with my hubby. I want to raise our baby Jewish. He doesn't have a religion really. He doesn't really believe in organized religion. This is a tough one.
