My older sister (about 3 yrs) started watching me when I was around 9. She cooked, helped with homework, and did laundry. Looking back we bickered all the time but she was basically a second mom....we were definitely latch key kids

Times are so different now I would be terrified to leave my kids home alone 😭 back in the day it was okay though ain't have to worry about nothing lml
