I didn't see your previous post but it is a fact that statistically speaking trauma (especially childhood) does lead to drug addiction. It's unfortunate but true.

I agree that most addictions stem from some sort of trauma and people trying to self-medicate. However, as with everything, that’s not the case for everyone.

My husband was a meth addict for many years but his ex got him clean, his stemed from not having a father.
