So the doctors wanted me to monitor bp for 2 weeks not sure if u should wait till the 2weeks is up but surely this bp reading cant be classed as ok, I took it twice and readings are the same. Advise would be most appreciated

Your HR is very high too. I'd definitely ring up or take yourself to maternity assessment. Were you doing anything before taking you BP to make it rise, even a bath/shower can make it rise.
Your pulse is also extremely high. I’d be calling in if you think your machine is accurate.
It's what I went to doctors for last week because it felt like my heart was beating to fast and I'm having hot sweats day and night but my doctors seem to think it's normal and I've just bought that.machine on monday. Xx

I had high BP in both my pregnancies. I was to look out for it going over 150/90. Leave it for a bit then try again, it’s a viscous circle the more you do it, the higher it’ll get and the more worried you’ll be doing it.
It's the 2nd time I've done it today 1st one was at 7.30 this morning at that was 165/89 x
@becijayne944, call them. They’ll probably have you in to check it and retest for proteins.
Ideally dont wait around. My BP was really high with my son i had no symptoms i was just sick of looking at swollen feet and turns out i had ti have my son that night at 28 weeks... My daughter who i had last year my blood pressure started going off around 20 weeks and i made it to 26 weeks with her. I dont mean to scare you but if it is pre-eclampsia and its this early on please please go get checked out
Yeah I'm on asprin been on it since 12 weeks, all ring.up and explain to them, but I've been back and forth to drs about it as a felt really of last week and.my hands were swollen to be told to monitor it and you cant get symptoms this early on for preeclampsia xx @lauren0103
@becijayne944 you can get symptoms! That really frustrates me because my whole pregnancy with my daughter they told me it was too early but now they said i probably started getting pre-eclampsia around 20 weeks with both mine. I wish there was more research on this because with my son my kidneys were shutting done if i had gone to bed that night without going to the hospital i have no idea what the outcome would have been. My daughter i was in hospital at 21 weeks then back innat 24 weeks then had her 26 weeks 😞 i hope your not at that stage but they should be taking it a lot more seriously x
@lauren0103 I feel as though their not especially when I've had it before with my 1st luckily it happened later on with her, but this is to soon for my liken I'm going to speak with them again. But their doctors they no right dont they! Yet you no your self if something isnt right. Thankyou for your advice though xx
Id call in and tell them what it is reading at. Theyll most likely have you in for monitoring if they feel necessary. Have you had pre-eclampsia and or any trace of protein in your urine?
I've had preeclampsia in my 1st pregnancy at 30 weeks and to stay in till I had my lg so was told their was a chance I could have it this time round, I went in on Tuesday as couldn't feel little man move hes fine bp was high then no trace of protien but had it all the way through up until tuesday their was no trace. Doctors wanted me to monitor it till midwife appointment witch is 2 weeks away. X

My BP was high-ish at my checkup today. 138/87. It's been on the higher side the last two appointments. :-/ He wants me to come back in on friday for another BP check.
