Anyone has or had HPV ? How did it affected your love life ? Did you continue having a relationship? Did you stay single…

I had HPV. It went away and I've had negative tests for years now

I think people get medicine for it to calm down the flare ups and I guess it’s suppose to protect others from getting it ? Don’t quote me on it though

I been single since I left the guy I was with its been 7m already I dont know how to approach it yet I did tell a few guys I have it and like 3 of them where still interested but I am not interested in giving it to them so I'm not ok with beingbeith anyone I truly believe that my body will get ride of it and I can then maybe maybe try to to with another guy since being single right now feels so good !

kinda depends on the type you have. There are different strains that cause different things but all hpv related

To my surprise I found out earlier this year that my Pap test came back abnormal. When it comes to Hpv cancer, it can take years to appear. I was exposed to sex at 12 so it could be possible that it was passed on to me at some point in my early teens. For now thank god the cells look good in the cervix but I have to do the test again next year and go from there. 🤞🏻

Oh yes I forgot to say, so when I told my bf at first he didn’t really understand hpv lol he was like how can someone not know till years later but the more I explained it to him and he read up on it, he was ok with it. I was worried at first thinking that I hope he doesn’t assume that I am with someone else lol. He also knows that he is welcome to come with me when I go to my appointments. He’s been there before with me to my gyn when I was pregnant last year. 😃

I don’t have HPV and have even vaccinated for it to avoid getting it but my cousin has it and it does not affect her at all. She barely has flare ups and each partner she has had didn’t really care.
