What would you do if someone knocked on your door at 2 or 3 in the morning?

3 year ago we got a knock at my door at 2 am in the morning . It was a knock that I’ll never forget . At first we were scared we didn’t want to answer it . It woke us up from our dead sleep . Your probably wondering who was at our door . It was the detectives tell my husband his sister passed away . I was 14 weeks pregnant at the time also . It took me a while to not “jump” whenever someone knocked on the door . It’s a sound I’ll never forget

@alishap1212, oh my gosh I am sorry for your loss. That is terrible. I don’t blame you I would feel terrified as well with a knock like that at the door.

One time I didn’t have a knock but I saw someone peeping through the top windows of the door, looking in the house I used to live at, around like 3 something in the morning. I screamed. It was one of the stupid bullies in the neighborhood. He was such a creep. He was staring at me. I must have been like 16 at the time.

This actually happened to us 7 years ago. Someone was pounding on our door at 3 something in the morning. I called the cops. Turns out it was my husband's drug addict cousin.

I'd see who it is.

We've had family show up in the middle of the night to warn us of storms coming because their calls wouldn't go through.

If it was a stranger definitely grabbing the rifle, cracking the window beside the door sliding it out enough so they see it, when I ask them what the fuck their doing at my door at 2 am. 😂

@alishap1212, when my father opened the door the guy ran away. That guy was such a creep and stalker like. He would show up a couple of times a year and knock on the door. He would either show up during the day time or night time. He bugged me because he wanted to sleep with me and each time I would turn him down. He wouldn’t take no for an answer.

@witchyxvibes, lmao. That’s a good plan! If anyone had any bad intentions, I’m sure they would run the hell out of there lol. When family would show up did they get scared when they were there late at night lol?

@alishap1212, thank you. I should have. My dad threatened to call the cops on him but never did. There were also other guys that bothered me that were his friends but he was such a weirdo. He wouldn’t take no for an answer. I’m glad that he didn’t have the chance to try and attack me. One time I was washing the dishes and one of the other guys was looking at me from the top of the door as well. It was probably around 8pm. Who knows for how long but I screamed also that time and by the time my father opened the door that guy ran away as well. After that we put some construction paper and covered those top windows on the door so that way nobody was able to look in. I miss living in that house but that wasn’t fun lol. I hate the feeling of being watched.

@witchyxvibes, oh ok lol that’s good that they do that. Do they show up often like that or only a few times a year? Do you get annoyed when they do that lol?

If I had a camera I’d look at it. But I don’t even answer the door in the day time so I wold no be answering it. And I don’t call the cops actually wouldn’t feel safe doing that

3 am, the whole house is asleep, I'm not even getting out of bed to... maybe just to make sure all the doors and windows are locked, but I'm not even checking who's at the door

@thatregalmujer, lol. I scared the hell out of my dad last night when I put on a horror show. He walked away from the living room. He said that stuff is nonsense but I know he didn’t like it. 😂
