Anyone child school going back to school or still doing the virtual thing?
My 5 year old daughter teacher just called and said there still might be a possibility we are still doing the packets and the tablets.
Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

Well it’s official we are doing remote learning in the fall. The school board voted and went along with what the superintendent wanted. I can’t even say I’m upset or mad about it cause I do think it was the right decision and we had a bit of a warning that this was how it was going to go. Even though I’m in a good position, a sahm, and very fortunate I can still say it sucks lol. What about your kids school?
And some of these people would still do it for free. 🤦🏾 ♀
School fees Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".

Um this year ?? School is about to be over I don’t see why they would have kids go back the last week or whatever just to sit in class because they really don’t do work the last weeks 🤔🤷🏻♀️

yeah well I’m assuming so here in philly they’re going back next year as of now but we’ll see when that time comes

Ours hasn’t announced yet. They sent out a survey about 2 weeks ago asking opinions. Several different questions about combination learning (partial online, partial in person). I think they are looking at maybe splitting into 2 groups and doing 1 week at school, one week e-learning, so only half the school population is there at once. They would rotate. (I hope you get my drift, not sure if I explained that well! 🤪)

We are just ending our school year and would normally start in September. We just filled out questionnaires about returning in Sept but no decisions have been made officially. We probably won’t know til August.

I'm annoyed for working parents in my state. We're wrapping up the school year in the next year and they're having the older kids keep their tablets but they're still getting a plan together for the fall
