He’s looking so good!

The Indian Almond Leaves I ordered have been a life safer!

I put in a new leaf and remove the old one during partial water changes / once a week.

He is fully back to his happy self.

Whenever I come in the room, he comes over to push himself against the glass so I can “pet” him. He loves both his food & his treats but when he sees me grab his treat container he starts jumping a little out of the water from excitement. He’s so precious.

Right after the accident I got him a little buddy snail and he doesn’t seem to mind him in the slightest.

Betas are known for being extremely aggressive.

At first I thought I had just got a young boy that hadn’t matured yet, but now I’m thinking I genuinely got a sweet one. We’ve officially had him for six months - 4 months is considered an adult - and he was large when we got him, so I’m thinking he’s older than 6mo. But yet, he’s so sweet.

I got him a floating mirror to help him combat boredom. The mirror is supposed to help him flare. But he just won’t do it… He doesn’t even care about his reflection at all. He also will swim over and rub himself against my hands when I do water changes.

I’m not supposed to let him do this because it can rub off a good slime coating that he has, but it’s just so sweet. 🥰

Anyway… I know it’s a little silly, but for those of you who kept up since the accident - he’s doing wonderful. Look at that fin regrowth! 😍❤️
