Lysol?

I went to the store yesterday. I didn't get close to anybody and I was only near 2 people in my line but we kept our distance. I didn't use their shopping carts for their baskets I brought my own green bags in and put my stuff in there. As soon as my daughter and I got home we washed our hands. You can be in the same room as people as long as you're not close enough to breathe on each other you're fine. Another thing you can do is reach into the back of the shelf and get the items from there instead of the front where multiple people may have handled those items.

The likelihood of the virus living on the packages and items are slim. Why? Because of the temperatures and climate changes as well as the lightening during the transition. This also pertains to mail. If the virus doesn’t find a host or have the correct temperature and lighting it won’t survive. I do take extra caution though and I wear gloves, Lysol my boxes and throw out all boxes, plastic. I try to wipe down or wash the items.

Do you need your groceries delivered? What about that medicine? A lot of places of halted their deliveries except for the essentials but as of right now people just need to make smart choices and continue to practice safe procedures, such as washing hands and throwing out boxes ASAP.

Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t grocery stores get their food shipped to them? Are you not buying groceries or going out and buying essentials. It’s practically the same thing.

I leave packages that I don’t need immediately in my garage for a few days before opening. If I need something inside right away I will throw out the box and wash my hands. Wipe down the product with rubbing alcohol. I do the same with my groceries.

My mom works for the distribution center of walgreens.
The individual items packed into boxes aren’t cleansed or anything, but the trucks before they leave the warehouse are sprayed down with a chemical mist that is supposed to kill the virus and germs.
She told me to just open the box outside when it’s delivered, and spray everything with Lysol.
So that’s what I do.
Better than going into the stores if I can help it.

Any package I get is left on my enclosed porch then I come out and spray it down with lysol. When I open my package I also spray down all the contents inside my package then leave it for an hour. Only then do I take it into my house... so I feel like I'm good

I rather my ups and amazon delivery man drop my packages off with his gloved hands at my door then go to a grocery store or Costco with 127 ppl in line. The likelihood of one catching the virus 🦠 off your box 📦 is slim. Possible but unlikely.

If you think about it that way than nothing is safe . I would rather risk it by getting a delivery it’s even more risky by going to the store think of how many people you are coming into contact with at the store

The people packing the stuff if they are sick would be causing the spread.

Having things delivered seems like a better idea than to leave the house for necessities when you are quarantined.

If someone is self isolating because they have a low immune system or the elderly would be in danger from getting it from packages being delivered to their home.
