Anyone else’s partner have unrealistic goals/standards for their house ? My fiancé expects the house to literally look like no one freaking lives in the damn thing . Yet throws his clothes on the floor in the living room the second he gets home from works . Pees all over the damn seat . Leaves his tools and things literally everywhere . Yet I’m expected to make it look like some castle . So tired of no appreciation and high expectations that will never ever become a reality.

I try telling him allllll the time of he’d just put his stuff where it belongs it’s be a lot easier and a lot nicer looking . My son that’s baking is literallllyyy kicking my hips apart and I could need surgery when he’s born. It’s tiring cleaning up after a toddler and a grown ass man all damn day. I’m in agony by the time I go to bed

Well since having to stay home while I’ve been working my SO has deep cleaned our bedrooms, bathrooms, and living room, he also did spring clean up outside. All I have left to deep clean is the kitchen and laundry room.

Mine could care less. He would live in his own filth if I let him. We got into it about his laundry a few times and he offered to start doing it himself. One month later and there’s a pile of mixed clean and dirty laundry in the bottom of his closet, whole closet stank!! 🤮 Empty hangers and he just dug through the pile 😡 Some men are lazy pigs

Ugh that’s crazy. He’ll clean up once in awhile but HIS way . Which is throwing it all into the bedrooms 🙃

My husband has his own man cave and I throw everything into there. Its convenient because i can close the door and not have to see the mess. Hes responsible for cleaning the room and i clean everything else

Oh girl, I'm right there with you. Mine thinks that everything should be clean 24/7. Yet he leaves beer cans and water bottles everywhere packages of snacks everywhere piles of clothes all over the living room he has a hamper for his work clothes in the bathroom yet his clothes are thrown all over the bathroom. I take pictures of all of it before I clean it up because he likes to say that I'm a slob and I'm lazy when I'm the one that cleans up after everybody!!! The pictures are so I can throw it in his face when he tries to call me lazy or a slob

@briannalynn547 definitely do it. Throw it in his face, that's what he needs. I've even sent mine pictures of me deep cleaning the house. I have pictures of all my cabinets emptied out because I was cleaning them. I have a whole album in my photo gallery dedicated to his mess

My dh doesn’t it’s more me haha. I’m a little ocd at time but then again I can leave some mess around and it doesn’t bother me. But like I won’t leave dishes in the sink ever.

@briannalynn547, see I’ve had one for years and years but I never use it I just wash as I go lol even if it’s only a spoon it takes like two seconds so I never have dirty dishes

Even though my husband has a broken ankle and is on a knee scooter, he still helps out. He takes the garbage out, he does dishes and laundry, and has even helped me with the lysol work! No excuses!

Oooo when my husband starts to do that I get real petty and take pictures of all his stuff I have to clean up and blow up his phone with the pictures as I go about cleaning. Needless to say, the problem gets fixed real quick.
