I still feel like this whole thing is just being blown out of proportion by the media and social media. Yes we should be concerned and cautious but I still don't think it's necessary to go out and wipe the stores of everything. I doubt people even acted like this when the first polio outbreak happened. 🤦🏻♀️

So I think there’s two sides to this. Yes it is important to keep things in perspective but I also totally believe that social distancing is key right now. If most of us will eventually catch this it’s best that we don’t do it all at the same time. Our hospitals cannot keep up with that kind of volume and that is when there’s real trouble. It may only be a small percentage that requires hospitalization but I think it’s our duty as compassionate human beings to try and limit the spread
Editing to add that the mass hysteria is by no means helpful. I agree on that point but I don’t agree with going about our day as usual

Ok fair enough.but it's not air born you can be in a room with someone and not get it just by being next to them. The only reason I've started stocking up & stuff is because everyone else is buying up everything! The media has caused mass hysteria. I'm more concerned about food than anything! Lol this virus may be spreading at a fast pace but I'm trying not to panic about it & just be prepared as much as I can if the government decides to shut stores down or people keep buying everything up!
