Now it's the covid 19....here in Ontario there have been 60 cases and 14.57 million people live here and one death in B.C who was in his 80s and living in a long term care facility...yet today you have people going nuts buying everything up when the risk of infection is super low. just because it's all over the news and it's the only thing being covered doesn't mean the world will end or you need to shut yourself away from society just my opinion on the whole subject since I've remained quite yes be caution don't be a sheep! 👍#momlife

So I think there’s two sides to this. Yes it is important to keep things in perspective but I also totally believe that social distancing is key right now. If most of us will eventually catch this it’s best that we don’t do it all at the same time. Our hospitals cannot keep up with that kind of volume and that is when there’s real trouble. It may only be a small percentage that requires hospitalization but I think it’s our duty as compassionate human beings to try and limit the spread
Editing to add that the mass hysteria is by no means helpful. I agree on that point but I don’t agree with going about our day as usual

I still feel like this whole thing is just being blown out of proportion by the media and social media. Yes we should be concerned and cautious but I still don't think it's necessary to go out and wipe the stores of everything. I doubt people even acted like this when the first polio outbreak happened. 🤦🏻♀️

I hate when people can’t control their kids. Went to the dentist the kids just climbing all over stuff, bothering people and messing with this women’s hair. Raising my son to be respectful and not be a pest to people because it takes the right person to say something to the kid and here the parents go getting mad.

The only reason I've started stocking up & stuff is because everyone else is buying up everything! The media has caused mass hysteria. I'm more concerned about food than anything! Lol this virus may be spreading at a fast pace but I'm trying not to panic about it & just be prepared as much as I can if the government decides to shut stores down or people keep buying everything up!
