Can constipation cause a delay in your period?

My period started on the 28th (with 4 previous days of spotting brown) and for the better part of yesterday and today, I’ve only bled enough for a pantiliner. If that. It is mainly when I pee. I noticed that from this morning I had very tiny amount of spotting when I wipe but other than that, nothing. I finally was able to make a good BM and I was able to pass some of my period. It’s so frustrating
