Got into the fertility and IVF center a month early. They ordered a series of blood work and waiting on insurance. Also they told me I will be needing a HSG.

I’ve had a HSG Before but I was sleep, this one I’m not going to be sleep 😳. Can anybody tell me the pain of this?

Also, they said that my case warrants for IVF, so I’m wandering why I need a HSG if I’m going to have IVF anyways.

@destineettcmills, yes I was surprised. But they say if you have any type of blockage it may be a little bit more uncomfortable. I had an issue was one spilling more than the other and they tried to flush it. Many people have no pain at all though! Be sure to take some Tylenol about 30 mins before. And I personally spotted off and on for about 24 hrs after so take a pad/panty liner. They do HSG before IVF to make sure everything is okay with uterus for implantation as well.

@massmomma16, yes I’m getting IVF but he wanted to make sure I can carry . I’m so excited and scared. Thanks for the advice!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
