Yeah hes definitely come across weird and desperate for grafting sophie and jess straight away. He would have been better off leaving it a while and letting something naturally click. However I dont like how Leanne handled the whole situation with him she was just brutal and rude and then had the nerve to be annoyed when he was talking to the other girls expecting him to consider her feelings when she didn't give a shit about his!
