Savannah randomly busts out in laughter and swings her hands around whenever she gets excited. Sometimes I get comments like is she ok or why does she do that or what’s wrong with her. I just smile and reply she has autism and walk away because deep down inside I really want to rip that persons face off

I can't believe it My cousin stayed with me rent free from September 2015 to April 2016 and her stuff is still in my apartment. She's been saying she was going to come get her stuff for months. She text me this morning saying that she was going to come and get her stuff soon, and I asked her if I could have her air mattress. She tried to charge me $60 for it. The air mattress sells new for $35 on amazon and she didn't even pay $60 for it. I didn't respond and she just text me saying the $60 was for a microwave she bought me and her air mattress. When she got the microwave, it was a gift. Then when my son was in the hospital from October to January out of town, I was going to get my internet service turned off until I returned home. My cousin was doing school work online, so I paid for it while I was away so she could use it. I'm trying to figure out a response to her. ?
My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.

Some people just seem to think they can ask whatever and for some reason they don’t see it as “rude”
My son was born with ptosis (weak eye lid), people in the store would ask me what was wrong with him all the time it use to bother me alot because sure there is nothing “wrong with him “he just has a condition I had to learn to shrug it off

Right I don’t let it bother me anymore but I don’t want her hearing those kind of comments because I tell her everyday she is perfect

Some people just do not know. You do not have to be upset. It is probably out of curiosity. Then you can inform them. It is nice to see she bursts with joy.

I agree with @icebergahead don't take it as disrespectful, just use these moments to inform them of some factd aboit Autism it really helps everyone learn amd accept. when people ask me about my son is stores I love to inform them about being on the spectrum. My son hand flaps too when really excited and rocks back and forth! 💙

Aww so sweet! My niece has autism and will also burst into laughter when she gets excited! Ah I love her she’s currently sleeping right next to me 💕. Also my daughters name is Savannah as well 😊
