Hey lovelies! I took your advice and got checked out and all is fine thank god😆 I went for a growth scan today and he’s dipped ever so slightly on the chart with the three centile, they aren’t concerned but I am? He weighed 4lb 10oz at 31+4 and 2lb 10oz at 28+4 so that’s 2lb In 3 weeks... he’s now put on less than 1lb in 2 weeks and I’m worried that his growth is slowing down and what if it stops? I don’t have another growth scan for 6 weeks and I’m nervous.. in 2 weeks I have a scan but they said not to bother with the growth scan and just scan the chord? But urgh I’m such a stress head😒🌟
I was told my eldest daughter was small when scanned at 39 weeks. They estimated her birth weight to be between 4&5lbs. She was born at 41 weeks and was 8lb 1oz. So glad you got checked and everything is OK with him tho xx
Yep growth scans aren't accurate at all!
They told me my 3rd baby is a normal weight (estimated 8lbs ) and not to worry and he was born 10lbs!
And with my 4th they told me he will be 10lbs and he was born 8lb7oz! Xx
Growth scans aren't very accurate. I was told Theo was going to be 10lbs 5oz at 39 weeks, he was born at 39+2 weighing 6lbs 13oz
Ahhh okay, just worried that he’s gonna slow down or stop growing and worried that’s dangerous
Growth scans are not very accurate, if they have checked everything and are happy I’m sure all is good. As above that’s an excellent weight at 31 weeks. Ailsa was born at 30 weeks and was 3lb 11oz
4lb10 at 31 weeks is pretty big! George was 5lb at 35 weeks. I find growth scans can be very in accurate. They predicted my eldest at over 9lbs and he was a skinny 7lb3! Glad everything was okay. Xx
Growth scans are a load of crap 😂 my daughter both came up 'under weight' then the first was born 9lb 6oz and second 9lb 11oz so definitely not small! Xx
