did any one have a growth scan at 34 weeks if so what was there estimated weight

@bump2016, I had an estimate of 5lbs 2 at 34 weeks too and now at 38 weeks, they're saying she's about 7lbs. x

id say ur looking at around 8lb something ul be fine my daughter's just had a baby he was nearly 11lb and she managed on just gas and air shes only 18 the water helps her xx @bump2016

he's my second @babyboots and that's still a lot to say I've got 5 weeks to go xx

no im sure he wont be 10lb is he your first baby?? @babyboots ill put a post up on monday to let you no what weight my little girl is as it will be a week before i have her so ou should have a ruff idea.. do you have any more scans?? they say baby puts on aprox half a pound a week from now till birth if that helps?? xx

mine was 5lb 7oz at 34 @bump2016 so not far off ur babys weight im back again monday for my final scan before i have her on the 24th feb hope this helps xx

I dunno for sure but I think that's about average for 34 weeks. did they give you a centile ? coz they normally grow along the same centile. that would give you an indication of birth weight or whether baby is average /larger / smaller etc

iugr just basically means a small baby can be for various reasons. I had a baby with iugr and she was estimated to be about 4.5lb and 34 weeks. was born at 37 weeks weighing 5lb 11. With my son he was estimated to be about 3.5lb at 31 weeks and was born and 10 days late weighing 7lb 13oz.

@bump2016, i had a growth scan and at 34w my little man was weighing just under 4lb, but im having a iugr baby xx

had one at 31 and it was 3lb 8oz if that's any help

ye they said my eldest was around 7lb then so unless he didn't grow in the last few weeks it was bollocks x

they haven't said what he will weigh when he's born they said what he weighs at min @zaralee71 x

I did with my first and they were way off with the weight. Told me I would have an 8/9lb baby, he was 7lb 4oz x
