Omg thank you it’s my first time cuz my daughter she jus came but some how this lil boy wants to be stubborn n not come so I’m a lil nervous 😩
@lexxx.cee13 Dont be nervous ! Honestly having an induction is way less stressful then going on ur own lol. You are already at the hospital when the pain starts, and you can prepare everything for that specific day!
They started pitocin sat night. Sunday morning they broke my water. Didn’t progress so upped the pitocin. Had her Sunday night. She was also my first so that could’ve played into it being so long.
My water broke within seconds of them removing it!! It should babe taken 24hrs to take effect... 9hrs later I had my boy💙💙💙
I had the pill in the cervix I can’t remember what it was called but I went into labour within 3 hours of having it!!
Either a quick process or slow one. I had a friend who gets induced and has a baby by the end of the day. I get induced and I don’t have my kid until the next day lol. Induced contractions are stronger they hurt a lot more. What I didn’t like with my inductions was the limit in movement, if they couldn’t get the babies heart they came in to tell me to stop moving around 😂.
I’m scared now. Lol. Hopefully he comes the same day I get induce n the process is fast

They will break your water possibly give you Pitocin
I've been induced twice since I've gone over a week both pregnancies.
My first I was given cytotec- they put a little pill in your cervix to start softening it- about 3 times, so one every 2 hours I think ? By the end of that I was around a 4 and they broke my water and I had my son about 6 hours after that!
With my second I got the same cytotec. I was already a 3 and it bumped me to a 4-5 within an hour. My water naturally broke after about 1 and a half hours and I had my baby boy in my arms in a total of 4 hours later !
My family members who were started on pitocin instead of doing the cervix ripening first had very long painful inductions. Although everyone is different I've heard great things about the pill to ripen the cervix ! It also helps when ur body is almost ready but just needs a little push to get yourself into labor ! My body for some reason just doesnt like to start labor, but once it realizes it's time I go quickly !
