Okay. I’ve been slowly starting potty training Maddox. He’s good at telling me he has to pee. But everytime I sit him on the potty he SCREAMS and cries. I’ve also tried letting him stand to pee but he screams then too. I don’t know what to do!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
We've decided to start potty training our 22 month old since he can pull down his pants, we've thrown ourselves into it. Now the question is, can 22 month olds be manipulative 😳? This child is something else. If we're having him do something he doesn't want to do, like going down for a nap, he'll start saying potty, if we let him go, he just runs all over the place, I guess forgetting he wanted to use the potty 🤦🏿 ♀ Is this a thing? I just go get him and have him sit on the potty and I tell him, "if you say you want to use the potty, then you must use the potty." I feel like I should work on him not "telling lies." But idk what this behavior is. Can 22 month olds be manipulative, and a liar? Someone told me "he's intelligent to know that saying potty will get him out of something he doesn't want to do." I say... this some bull... 😑😒 Another thing, when I try to get him to look at me when I'm trying to tell him he did something wrong, he does not make eye contact. I get down on my knee in front of him, he looks away, I cup his chin with my hand to have him face me, or say "Nordo, look at mommy please," he averts his eyes... you guys 😓 somedays I feel like he's a sociopath 😬 I don't say that out loud though 😅 ugh, I know, I'm CRAZY, but man... what are the chances? lol
I created a potty training group on here I potty trained my now 11 month old in exactly 1 month. No he is no a genius. I was just determined to get him out of diapers. I woke up every 15-30 minutes to put my son on the potty. I Never yelled when he did have a accident. I just put him on his potty and told him that he is a big boy and big boys don't pee or poop in their diapers. I always clapped 👏 my hands when he did pee or poop in his potty . I don't give my son no sort of candy or stickers since he can choke. I rewarded when he was accident free for 1 month I purchased him a toy . Who would like to join my potty training group?
Need some serious tips on potty training! Walker knows when he pees and poops but when i have his diaper off he just pees wherever and then wants his diaper back on 🙃

I have had the same problem with my son who is almost 3. He has been telling me when he has to potty for over a year now, but refuses to sit on the toilet without a meltdown. I try not to pressure him and just ask him often if he wants to go sit on the potty. He always tells me no. I’m hoping one day he just decides he wants to. I was told not to force him because it will just prolong the process and that he just isn’t fully ready yet. But idk. It can be frustrating. We have even tried offering rewards/incentives. He could care less.

Yup! There’s a kid in his daycare who is potty training so I asked the provider to see if she can get him on the potty. Maybe if he sees another kid doing it he’ll want to. But I’m at a loss. I’ve been offering rewards just for him sitting on it. Now he’ll sit in it with clothes on. But the second I get him bare bum he refuses to sit in it. So frustrating

yea I think the biggest problem is he hats the cold 😂 Everytime he sits bare bum anywhere he screams.
