How do y’all cope with everyone telling you they think your bump should be bigger based on family members and everything? I keep looking at mine and thinking it’s not big enough. And I know that doesn’t mean anything in terms of health until a doctor says. But it’s becoming a struggle mentally

@s_hayln, Tell them that it’s not acceptable to comment on anyone’s body, pregnant or not. Let them know it makes you feel uncomfortable (and it’s kinda creepy) that they’re checking out your body and thinking it’s okay to make comments. That should quiet them down.

Honestly you just need to ignore them. Everyone carries differently & it’s normal to still be small at 17 weeks, especially if it’s your first. I was barely showing at that point. Everyone told me how small I was carrying when I was close to my due date. My son was 9lb 6oz.

It’s my family comparing me to other family members that are pregnant who started showing really early. Even during their first. And I know it’s nothing about health for now. Because my doctor is not concerned. It’s just very hard to constantly hear that on my mental health. Because it makes me feel like I’m “less pregnant”
