Any advice on how to make my toddler take his 5ml antibiotic he keeps spitting it out, even when offering chocolate after it
Hes not meant to eat 2 hours after it but I'm really struggling
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
He shared this on his Facebook a day after he said me and him is not working out
How soon after intercourse can you take a test? I know for sure that no protection was used, and he came inside.
Is 12 days after he cums in you to soon to test? Sorry to be so bold.

Put it in his cheek from a syringe, like one of the ones you get with Calpol etc. A little bit at a time and blow on his face with each bit, it’ll make him swallow

I've tried but he is fighting back I just made his teeth bleed because he jolted 😓

Have you tired doing it through a bottle top? Or mixing it with a cup of juice :)

Have put it with his juice for now but hes not drinking the juice 🙄
Its bright pink so as soon as he sees it he goes mad.

try mixing it with yoghurt? I've never tried it with antibiotics but my MIL suggested it when theo wouldn't take calpol for a temperature and it worked :)

@jamie123 thanks I tried earlier and it was a bit messy but I think it will work next time when hes sat in his high chair xx

Is there anything you dont usually let him have? Like Charlie isn't allowed pop often but when the paramedics came out they suggested putting it in some lemonade. Hes never been one to take medicine, by the time he noticed it tasted funny he had already drank it

Hes being fussy with any food I give him, its like he knows! Hes not normally allowed chocolate but hes even turning his nose up at that 😴 I've just let some watermelon soak in the medicine but he still wouldnt eat it, I think I'll just have to keep trying to hide it in different food. Thanks xx

Take a fruit shoot take half of juice out and mix it with the antibiotic!let him drink!

I have to put my emotion to one side and go full on paediatric nurse with Hamish. I wrap him in a towel so he can’t move his arms and lie him down sit on him and syringe to back of mouth small amounts and blow on his face so he swallows. Sounds awful and trust me its awful but he has to hav antibiotics to bogey better. I don’t even give calpol because it would stress him. Have tried juice, yogurts etc etc and he tries them.
On the ward there is always a way to get a child to take medicine

I know I feel awful restraining him but I know it's for his own good, I wish he was old enough to understand it will only taste gross for 2 seconds!

Hamish had an infection in his penis Xmas eve finished antibiotics New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day he jumped up after breakfast and said I no need my medicine and when I said no more medicine he gave me a hug and said thank you I felt awful

oh bless. I suffer with anxiety so its stresses me out and then earlier he jolted and the syringe hit and cut his tooth and I felt even worse 🙈 cant wait til he is better, I'm glad hamish is better x
