My son is 4 weeks old and started to projectile vomit and really hard in bringing up wind. Anyone have any ideas... am starting worry.

Keep stop and starting feeding, carry baby on his tummy across your forearm to shift any wind. Docs usually prescribe gaviscon powder. Sorry baby up right for feeds and keep them upright afterwards

My daughter did this, we were prescribed gavisgon and did nothing until 2 weeks later they tried her on dairy free formula and she is a new baby not vomited since

Hope he feels better soon and you get to get him to the doctors for them to either prescribe something or treasure you he's alright xx

Is it violet vomiting ? Like flying across the room? After every feed?

Yes but not every feed. Its defentily getting flight on the sick. Like exorcist sick.

when my youngest was 3/4 weeks he started bringing feeds up and they got more violet as time went on and when he got to 5 weeks it was every single feed, flying everywhere, really violent and he’d choke on it. Not like any normal baby vomiting. It was pyloric stenosis which is a tightened muscle in the stomach which gets tighter and tighter till no milk can pass through, so instead shoots out violently and baby ends up dehydrated. Just thought I’d let you know because it took 3 doctors visits and a very poorly baby till it was found. As It’s quite rare. Does need surgery to correct. Worth mentioning if it doesn’t improve. My lb would vomit, then scream because he’s hungry, feed and vomit again, it was a vicious circle xx
