Okay so guys hubby’s just told me he wants our 18 month old baby to have his own room! And sleep in there by himself 😭😭. His like he should get used to his own space from a young age. I’m feeling really anxious. Am I overreacting? And what do you guys think ? Is he too young ? Xx

He will be just fine! I've just moved my son with his brothers and he settled just fine.
Obviously if you don't feel comfortable in doing that then its up to you. But there's no loss in trying! Xx

My little boy has been in his own room since he was 6 months old. Your not over reacting hun but he will be ok🙂. Have u got a monitor that u could watch him on?? x

it was difficult to begin with cause I was so use to him being at arms length in his next2me but after a couple of weeks he’d gotten use to it and so had I. x

My little one went in at 18 months. It was what we all needed, none of us were sleeping. I didn't think I was ready at the time but looking back on it I was just feeling anxious about something happening to him in his sleep and me being aware of it. He settled really well and loves his own space. I'd wait until you're ready though! Xx

Ive tried numerous of times to get my eldest in his own room doesnt work so hes in ours untill he can now understand abit more cos i feel if you leave it longer the harder it is n we all sleep so these no problem with him being in with us. Also when i was having my second everyone kept saying get him in new baby n i was like no hes my baby aswel yeno so that's only reason i kept him in n didnt do it when he was younger but just do whatever works for yous. Am actually glad to hear someone with a older baba still in with them. These gonna be a time when he will go just in just fine hes still your baby. Xx

It’s when you feel ready. I moved hamish at 8 months and Ailsa will be in her room soon, she is at a sleep regression so no point just now. I didn’t sleep for about three nights when we moved hamish, stared at his monitor but I got used to it
