The graco contender is what I actually switched to because it was more affordable. It has a higher rearfacing height max but the weight max is only 40 pounds. It's easy to adjust and switch from rearfacing to forward facing.
My sister has the extend to fit and I much prefer it. If my child wasn't already 2 when my niece was born I would've switched to it but I had just bought the contender.
With 4 niece's and nephews I babysit plus my own. I used alot of carseats 😂

Evenflo is a good carseat brand. You can google the specific type and put "reviews" after it and up should pop all kinds of stuff about them

Car seat lady is one resource. If you have Facebook, car seat safety and car seats for the littles are also good

This carseat is bulky. Heavy. And only rearfaces to 37 inches. The only thing I really liked about it was how easy it was to adjust (Evenflo triumph)
