What are things you packed in your hospital bag or things you wish you would’ve packed?

Chapstick, socks (I sent my mom and dad to get me socks because I forgot mine) snacks for after the cafeteria closes at night. I wished I would've brought a zip up sweater or a robe with me since I was so cold at night while breastfeeding/skin to skin, even with blankets.

For myself: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner, slippers, comfy loose sweats, sports bras, a few loose tshirts, chapstick, phone charger, extra hair ties, sweater, socks

For baby: hand mitts, socks, a few comfy footie pajamas, hats,going home outfit, pacifier(the hospital gives you a paci but the baby might not like that type) & cute swaddles( the hospital ones were ugly lol) & a warm blanket to put on the baby in the carseat

That hospital supplies almost everything like the huge pads, underwear, towels, diapers, wipes, blankets, formula, breast pumps & so much more.

ADULT DIAPERS!! I swear by them

Better clothes! Between breastfeeding and just being comfortable, I didn’t pack well for either. I packed clothes I was comfortable in before having a baby like tight leggings and shirts and jeans which none of those feel good on a cramping uterus or wounded vagina lmfaooo. Granny panties, sweats & t-shirts is the way I would go next time lol. Oh and slippers.. the socks are cool and all, but it still feels gross walking in just socks on a hospital floor so slippers would have been helpful lol.
