What are the things you moms have packed for a diaper bag for the hospital? I want to know what is mandatory to bring before i pack extra stuff and how much i need to pack of each thing.

Pretty much clothes for the both of you to go home in.
My hospital provided toiletries. Make sure to ask about anything you are in need of and the nurses are usually really nice and give you extras.
Other than that whatever you prefer to take.

@livvybasiliadis, my hospital provided the basic color. But we bought the colored ones too.
@livvybasiliadis, mine didn’t give me any and were kind of against them for newborns. They want to make sure the baby has a healthy latch before introducing pacifiers or bottles. My first couldn’t latch so we had to pump and bottle so she took a pacifier soon after we came home. My younger still won’t take one

Do i only need to bring one set of clothes to go home in ? Cause aren’t you in a gown until you go home? Also only 2 newborn outfits or do i bring more? I don’t have a robe and i will need to buy pads i am breastfeeding

Comfy clothes to go home in, comfy socks, slippers, a robe, toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, hair ties, etc), 2 different sized outfits for baby, blanket, swaddler, a couple diapers & wipes (hospital provided too), depends or pads for pp bleeding.
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
I guess the next step for me is to pack my hospital bag!! I need to pack it by Jan 1st because I will be 34 weeks.. lol soooo what to pack ladies what to pack? what's important? what's not?

Y’all please please be careful and monitor what these babies are watching on YouTube thank god my baby didn’t understand what the thing was saying he showed me the phone and said “scary mama” I think continued to listen to what the thing was saying and I was livid and horrified it was explaining to my son how to kill the whole family while everyone was asleep
