Can I be real for a second? Like, really real?
Lately, the first picture has been my reality. My sweet little Kam has become just a tad destructive lately 😅 between that, her wanting to nurse extra lately due to teething & her wanting my attention at all times, Momma hasn’t been able to get much done. I can assure you that when I took these pictures, there was also tons of laundry to be done & a sink of dirty dishes to be washed. Momma’s, yes we LOVE a good, clean home. We LOVE taking care of our families and we take pride in those things, but those things aren’t our identity. Don’t get so caught up that cleaning or doing things absolutely consumes you and you are literally dragging by 6pm, take it from me. Sure, the second picture is my preference, but it’s not always attainable and that’s okay. It can wait. It will get done. It always gets done. Because Momma, you know how to get things done. You just have to learn to just breathe & live in the moment with your babies. Take a break. They are worth it and so are you.
