How do you mom's discipline your 6 year old? My daughter has been out of control with her attitude and not listening. I've tried lots of different things and nothing seems to help for more than a little while. Once I threaten to take something away (usually playing with her cousin or the neighbors) she'll start crying saying she's going to listen. Sometimes she'll tell us she'll clean or do something if we let her go play. That'll last maybe an hour then she's back to not listening. I stick to my guns if I say she doesn't get to play or whatever it is then I won't let her do it. We've also had lots of conversations about how it shouldn't take me taking away something she wants in order for her to listen.

Just keep being consistent. I heard changing disipline method can confuse them even more
I can see where changing methods could be confusing. She's good most of the time but when she gets in these moods it's like nothing really gets through to her.

My baby girl does not let me do anything all day 😭 I'm lucky if everything is done before my s.o gets home , she cried so I pick her up to feed her and change her diaper and once she's on my breast she eats and I burp her put her down and she'll cry I get her again and she's on my breast not even latched on just smelling my boobs 😭 I'm like girl really lmao she wants me to carry her or be with her all day , girl I wish I could lmao

Thank you ladies! Sorry I'm going to answer in 1 comment. I think we'll start doing timeouts. This may sound dumb but do you have timeout in their room or where you can watch them? I'm afraid she'll just start playing with toys if I send her to her room. We send her to her room when she starts doing her yelling cry. Which is more of her making a yelling noise than actually crying. I'll have to try taking toys away. She has a couple that would be a shock if I took them from her. I've also thought of doing a sticker chart as well. I just wasn't sure about rewarding her for the behaviour we expect.
