When you have an ultrasound done vaginally can they tell how many babies you are having? When you first get an ultrasound done to see how many weeks you are? 🤔🤔

It depends on how early you are and if your twins share a sack or not. But by 10 weeks of pregnancy they would most likely know.

Yeah on my first vaginal ultrasound they saw I had two sacs instead of one. Doc said it’s twins I was in shock

I was about 6-8 weeks.. I think 6 to be exact this was in 2017 so it’s a bit blurry but it was early

When they stick the probe in your vagina instead of the one on your stomach. It’s typically done early on at the first ultrasound before 10 weeks or so. They can get a better look early on that way :).
